Miss Champaign Urbana 2009

In 2009, Denise was honored with the title of Miss Champaign Urbana 2009 through the Miss America Organization and went on to compete a few months later for the title of Miss Illinois.  With her platform of Alzheimer's Awareness, Denise volunteered in several nursing homes and spread the word of Alzheimer's disease and how others may take action in the fight against it.
